Shopmobility provides a solution to many of the shopping problems faced by people with impaired mobility by providing access to mobility equipment in town centre locations.
Our Shopmobility service provides a range of scooters and wheelchairs, both electrical and manual.
It is a membership scheme with a choice of an annual membership fee of £45 and free use of the equipment or £10 fee and a charge of £2 per usage. Non-members and visitors can also hire equipment on a daily basis and we will arrange longer term hire for people on holiday in the area.
You can park your car in the St James car park, take public transport into the nearby bus station or you may be able to book a ride on our urban or rural Dial-a-Bus network. |
